and moi, of course….

I watched “The Good Wife” yesterday online. This picture is from last weeks’ episode titled ‘Unorthodox.’

I loved the hat, coat, and jacket, Mrs. Loeb, the wife wore:

The show is set in Chicago. For the mid-west fashionistas, does this reflect Chi-town tznius style?

To me, she looked very New York. Slightly more stylish than the fashion-conscious BP chicks and definitely more covered up than UWS chicks.

  1. I watched the show on demand and there were so many inconsistencies in this episode. why was the kosher grocery open on shabbat in the first place??? made no sense. regarding her outfit, I lived in chicago for two years and there are very few people who wear ‘double deckers’ like that. there certainly are not a whole neighborhood of people as in the show.
I havent’ seen the show before. I was wondering why nurse hathaway is now a lawyer!!!!

  7. Well, there are kosher groceries open on Shabbat in Brooklyn. Obviously, they aren’t shomer shabbos. But these places serve Conservative/Reform Jews anyway so they don’t care about that.
Double deckers? Do you mean the shell underneath the top?
LOL at Nurse Hathaway as a lawyer!
