o.k. sunday was eventful!

Most of the trains were screwed up six ways to Sunday. Most of the trains were screwed up six ways to Sunday. Ha ha! So the N train was my only recourse. The other lines were skipping stops, not running at all, or running shuttle services.

Why was I running around Manhattan?
To authentic a Burberry bag that I bought from eBay for a disgustingly low price.

The perfect handbag for aristocratic black sheeps like me!

It’s the Sophie Prorsum Mini Bowler bag. I was hesitant to talk about it lest it be a Canal St. special! Especially when I paid under 40% of the retail price.

Check out how smug I look at my eBay plundering abilities:

Oh yeah you can also see my new headphones for my Crackberry…my bad kitteh, Bella, chewed the wire to the ones that came with it. Also, you can see how much my skin cleared up after 4 days of OCM. Oh happier skin is the best!

So I found a pair of Skullcandy headphones that are iPhone-compatible.

What is the name of this pair? Smokin’ Buds.

Let the jokes commence!

  1. Your hair and makeup are adorable!
I “wash” my face with pure jojoba oil, and I absolutely love it. When I get out of the shower, I put a couple drops of oil on my fingertips and massage it in. I pat gently with a towel to get any excess, and then put on my mineral makeup. All my fine little wrinkles are gone, no more blackheads, and much smaller looking pores! Even my worst PMS breakouts are much smaller, and go away faster.
Does the face in that avatar look like she’s about to turn 44?

  3. Aww… thank you so much!
Jojoba oil is the best… I put it on my hair too as a grease substitute. So far, so good.
As for your avatar… you look like you’re about to turn 29, LOL!
Now my skin is ready for that wash cloth you were talking about!

  5. I don’t know if that’s a new sheitl or if it’s just the light, but the lighter brown (instead of black) is so flattering on you. Your skin looks so glowy!

  7. If you’re already putting jojoba on your hair, try working it into the scalp really well. If you do that for a few weeks you can get your natural oil and ph balance back. You’ll probably never need to use shampoo again. Use a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water as a rinse to smooth down flyaways and to make the cuticle nice and glossy.
Something I’ve always wondered, how do people with dreads or braids wash their hair? I suspect they use a method very similar to No Poo, since there’s really no way to get all the soap residue rinsed out.

  9. I used to wear dreads… you wash your hair a lot less. Conditioner is a no-no because they loosen the knots. Basically, you use a low lathering shampoo.
When I “grease” my hair I put the oil mainly on my scalp and then work it through the hair

  11. After I wrote that, I Googled dreadlock maintenance and found a lot of cool info.
HEY! A white person went and educated herself on black culture! OMG, can the Apocalypse be far behind? Who knows, maybe I just brought Moshiach! 😉
