I’m 20 and can remember then being advertised still when I was 7-9 years old; they hung around for ages. I don’t doglitter, but I really want one, strangely.
Ah so THAT’s how people got all those glittering rhinestones on clothes back in the 80s! I thought you had to sew it on!
Strangely enough this gadget is pretty much unknown in Hungary. I’m googling it like crazy right now and I find all kinds of scary implements for affixing rhinestones, but they all look much more complicated to use (and yes, there are people who sew them on). Am I missing the right keyword?? :O
Just use the keyword “bedazzler” and you should be able to pull it up. You might be able to find it on eBay or something. I’m so U.S. minded; I need to get on the global tip, LOL!
I wanted one desperately, but my mom kept saying “no”.
For Chanukah one year my mom Bedazzled me a denim jacket. It was in-saaaaayn.

I sure did!!
nope. We used that puffy paint stuff. I wasn’t cool enough for fake jewels. ::Sniff**
Same here, LOL!
that must have been cool. I remember watching My Life With Earl and the character Joy had a Bedazzler.
I know what you mean. It’s a strange fascination with that gadget!

Cool beans!
Puffy paint was cool too! My mom couldn’t afford the bedazzler.
